Well, the College's 50th reunion has been and gone, and life about the school is carrying on as if it never happened. It was a great weekend, the only negative comments so far is that some people didn't show!! What's the excuse, guys? But despite that it was a awesome weekend. I heard so many stories of long ago, teachers and friends and students all blabbing their school time secrets.
One of my observations is that no matter how much teachers now say that our generations are getting worse and more disrespectful, they are only partially correct. It would seem that one of the only differences is then they didn't get caught!! So there was no obvious rulebreaking, like the vandalism there is now. Honestly people- what is with the Vandalism? The more you vandalise the less money we as a student body benefit from, and the more lectures we get!! We should learn from the ones who went before (AKA the people who came for the reunion)
Soon (hopefully) there will be a link here into the colleges reunion sources and such. We are selling DVD's with a photograph slideshow and slides of the development of the college for $15. Its a cheap DVD and will make you cry or laugh on those sentimental days. Or, maybe you could use it as a punishment for your kids when they are (this idea had been censored). It could come in very handy. Flick the college an email,- if you came to the reunion then you will have those details. If not, watch this space. -and we will get those to you.
